FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
A little more about travelling with Eastara.
Who is Eastara Travel?
Eastara Travel is a destination management company with an experienced local team in Tanzania. We plan safaris, Kilimanjaro climbs, Zanzibar stays and group programmes for travellers and travel partners.
Where is Eastara’s current destination expertise?
Tanzania is our operational foundation. A broader East African destination management offering is our expansion vision.
Can I enquire about a multi-country journey?
Yes. Please contact the team to discuss the destinations and arrangements currently possible. Regional enquiries are considered individually.
Are the itineraries fixed packages?
No. The itinerary pages provide sample itineraries. Dates, accommodation, services, duration and any price are agreed in an individual proposal.
Can safari and Zanzibar be combined?
A safari and coast itinerary can be discussed as one connected journey, with the sequence and transfers considered for your dates.
How should I choose a Kilimanjaro route?
Compare the approach, accommodation style and complete schedule. Discuss preparation, acclimatisation and current access before deciding.
Does a longer climb guarantee the summit?
No summit outcome can be guaranteed. Preparation, altitude and the individual mountain experience all require careful consideration.
Can wildlife sightings be guaranteed?
No. Wildlife movements and encounters vary. A proposal should make room for the wider destination experience rather than depend on one sighting.
Do you work with travel agents and tour operators?
Eastara welcomes travel professionals seeking destination advice, itinerary development and ground coordination in Tanzania.
What should I include in my first enquiry?
Share your dates or travel window, group size, interests, preferred pace and accommodation style. Mention any important practical requirements.
Can you help with a group or incentive programme?
Group travel planning begins with the purpose, participant profile, dates and practical brief. The programme is developed through a conversation with the organiser.
Are the website photographs Eastara’s own?
The current photographs are illustrative stock photo placeholders. They do not represent Eastara-owned vehicles, properties, staff or guest experiences.
Does submitting an enquiry make a booking?
No. The website enquiry starts a planning conversation and does not make a booking or take payment.
