THE EXPERIENCE
Family safaris, explained.
Seeing an elephant for the first time through a child’s eyes is unforgettable. A family safari is about making those moments easy to enjoy, without long days that leave everyone tired.
We plan routes with manageable driving times, choose accommodation with family rooms and space to unwind, and leave room in the programme for swimming, rest or simply staying put. A few days on the beach at the end is often a welcome finish.
Routes and stays can be adapted. Your Eastara proposal confirms availability, accommodation, services and the price for your travel dates. Photographs are illustrative.

Practical notes from our team
Age policies
Some camps and activities have minimum ages. We check these for your children before suggesting a property.
Health
Ask your doctor about travel health advice for children well before you travel.
Rooms
Family rooms and connecting units are limited, so early planning helps.
Keeping it fun
Give children binoculars, a wildlife checklist and time to ask the guide questions.
