THE EXPERIENCE
Birdlife & flamingos, explained.
Tanzania is home to a remarkable variety of birds, from bright bee-eaters and rollers to eagles, hornbills and, at times, flocks of flamingos on the soda lakes.
A birding-focused safari moves at a gentler pace, with time to stop, listen and watch. Lake Manyara’s forest and lakeshore, Tarangire’s woodland and the habitats of the Ngorongoro Crater offer very different settings to explore.
